My Personal Library

Whether they know it or not, I consider many of these authors mentors. Read through and pick out what you like. I have only one request: Always #AppreciateInfluencers—They took the risks and paved the way for the rest of us.

***Hint about navigating this library list: Books on the left are more aligned with ENTREPRENEURS. Books on the right are more aligned with INTRAPRENEURS.

Permission Marketing: One of many titles in my library by Seth Godin, it truly rocked my world. Published in 1999, this book defines why so many customers are happy that telemarketing and SPAM regulations exist.

Eating the Big Fish by Adam Morgan. This book was introduced to my by Chris Brogan. It presents an interesting dichotomy: Challenger brands versus SUB BRANDS. The choice to focus on a sub-branding strategy created an interesting by-product: Personal SEO maximization.

The Fourth Industrial Revolution: Not only is the future upon us, it’s passing us by. In this book, Klaus Schwab highlights the exponential rate of change evolving technology enables, and how this revolution will have a greater impact than any before it.

How the Mighty Fall by Jim Collins. One of the most intriguing books on corporate demise ever written. Fascinating insights that will help tailor a future-proof business vision—if you choose to read between the lines.

The Obstacle is The Way: This book by Ryan Holiday provided the validation I had been seeking for my business vision. A brilliant piece of work (and not because it’s aligned with my worldviews.) Anyone who challenges others to think outside the box is worthy of attention.

Impact Equation by Chris Brogan and Julien Smith. It’s the second book by this duo that will play a significant role in either your personal OR business brand strategy. The key is understanding what you control versus what others control.
